Thanksgiving

So I am way behind on posting that's why I have 3 posts today. The following are from Thanksgiving although I didn't take any pictures of the actual meal. We first went to Jason's parents' house then to Treva's house.
Brady with his dad after a yummy dinner.
I finally have some pictures of the boys' cousins. I need to take more.

Cole is not happy I want him to pose. Landon is a natural.
Landon, Cole & Bodee
Two days later, we attended the Paskett's annual after Thanksgiving Christmas Party. Santa always comes.
Brady's 1st time seeing Santa.
Cole's 2nd time this year.
Waiting to open the gifts. Cole is not happy that he has to wait until everyone has seen Santa before he opens his.

SLC

Nov. 19-21st we had a chance to go SLC for a quick getaway. We took our kids with us and invited my mom along as well. We stayed at The Kimball right across the street from the temple. The first evening we looked for a place to eat and found a Panda Express in the phonebook. There was one in the Gateway Mall or one around 1700 something, a ways further away. Jason did not want to go to the mall so he opted we go to the other location. We find it and it was a Panda Restaurant instead. We had Cole with us so went to the mall and it took forever.
My poser.
The next day my mom went the genealogy library. Then we went to see Aunt Retta while Jason was asleep. He works night shift so he was still on that schedule. My mom and I then went to the Gateway Mall.
That evening, my mom watched Cole while we went to dinner with Jason's cousin Montana and his wife Melanie at Joe's Crab Shack. Jason had the crab and I had coconut shrimp. So good.

My Helper

This past month Cole has been really good at helping me with Brady. He surprises me all the time at what is going on in his little mind. He is learning so much which is still hard for me to believe that his really is getting older and will be in school soon. He will go to primary in January. Cole has always been a well mannered boy. He is always soft with toys and doesn't break or draw all over them. He leaves things around the house in their place. He is not a messy eater and he knows how to help me stay patient. I told him a long time ago if I ever start yelling or get mad at him, he should tell me to "take a break". So I hear it all the time, "take a break now."
Love the dimple.
We received this high chair from my good friend Angie and lately Cole has been helping to entertain Brady while I try to clean up real quick.
Brady now loves any kind of food. We have soooo much baby food of all kinds. Cole helps pick out what to feed him and this was the 1st time Cole fed Brady - Nov. 15. He did really good!

HaLlOwEen

We had a fun Halloween this year. We started out by going to a halloween party at the Blacker's house. There were a lot of fun games for the kids to play...

Brady was a skeleton.
Cole was a pirate.
Brady even played some games and won fabulous prizes.
It was a beautiful day outside.

They had a costume parade and Cole won a prize for a category of best costume.
At the end, they all went trick-or-treating.
After that, we stopped at a car dealership next to our house where they had a lot of merchants giving out candy. Later that evening, we went to our ward's trunk-or-treat and went around to a few houses.
After that, we went to Stephanie's house for another halloween party. Here is Brady with Kaylee. This was the only picture I took. I should have taken more. There were some really good costumes of the boys' cousins.

7 Months

Growing up way too fast.

Recent Happenings

Pictures of Brady at 6 months.
Oct. 10
Oct 13th, I had just put Brady to bed and came to check on Cole and this is what I found. He was putting a pull-up on his rabbit.
Target practice
Brady started rolling over this month and he also got his first 2 teeth.
He loves bouncing in his jumperoo.
Last pose as a 6 month old. What a cutie! He also started clapping (or playing patty cake) this month. He does it all the time.

Pumpkins

Cole has already gone to 2 pumpkin patches!
Uncle Brock came over and took Cole one day.
He had a lot of fun
and came home with 3 pumpkins. A huge one for dad, a medium one for himself and a little one for Brady.
Pumpkin patch #2 came a couple weeks later on Oct. 20th.
Cole's pumpkin rotted so we came to another patch to find him a new one.
He looked
and looked.
Then he wanted to venture into the field to find one himself.
He looked all over saying, "Let's go this way mom, maybe we'll find one over here."
He really wanted to make sure I got one too. Mine is the small one and his is in front of him.

Renters

This is our condo in AZ. We had to move February of 2008 after the company Jason worked for went bankrupt. At that time we had renters who stayed just over a year. After they left, we put it up for sale but nothing happened. After a few months of trying, we had our realtor try to rent it out. Finally after sitting empty for 5 months, we now have renters again! We are so excited. Now we will see what to do with the place next year. Until then, we can relax for another year.

6 Months

Our baby is already 6 months old! Where does the time go? He is such a joy to have in our family and we couldn't be happier. Brady is learning to sit up on his own, but it doesn't last too long. He is so cuddly and hardly ever cries. We love you Brady!

First Foods & Bumps

So I have been behind on posting so get ready for a lot of pictures to recap the last month.
First food ever, rice cereal on Aug. 21.
On Sept. 10th Cole was playing outside and fell on the sidewalk and got a HUGE bump on his forehead and also a scrape on top of it. He came home crying and I took one look and had to look away. It was the biggest bump I had ever seen (this picture doesn't show it well at all but it is huge).

First peas...he liked them today but not the next day - yuck!
(a better picture of the bump on Cole's head)
