Crafts

My 2nd attempt to create something. I am happy with how everything turned out. The plan is to hang this on my wall with family pictures.

This was the 1st project I attempted with vinyl. I got the idea from a craft fair and had Jason help me with the blocks. Then I painted it and added the letters.
This has made a great Christmas present.

A Little Luck

Jason has been at a new job for 3 weeks now and his work had their Christmas party on Dec. 13th. There were a lot of people there and Jason chose to go to this rather than go with our brothers' band Redline to run the sound and record their show at their concert in Boise the same night like he always does. He said he would rather go to the party because he was told they were going to have a raffle that included some big prizes like a Wii, a tv, a camera, and more. He was hoping to win the tv. Plus, they had a great dinner. Well...

Jason won the big prize, a 32" LCD TV. He couldn't believe it. This is his Christmas present. Now we have to rearrange the living room and find something to put it on.

Congratulations Jason!

Seeing Santa

Last year Cole was scared of Santa so this year I thought I would practice with him so he wouldn't be scared. He said he wouldn't cry and he knew Santa was nice. He knows you can ask Santa for presents so everytime he wants something or if we run out of something at home, he asks if he can ask Santa to bring it.

I had to capture the look on Cole's face when he first saw Santa walk in the door. He was so excited.

He could hardly wait his turn. Once it was his turn, he ran up to Santa and sat on his lap. He stayed for a long time and didn't want to leave. This was at my mom's family's Christmas party 2 days after Thanksgiving. We saw Santa a second time at the Festival of Trees on Dec. 5th and no one was in line. Cole saw Santa and ran up to him again.

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving my sister Iris came to visit from UNR where she is going to college. She is a freshman so this was her first Thanksgiving away from home. She spent five days with us and we had a lot of fun having her.

We had a Christmas party and Aunt Iris gave Cole Brer Rabbit specially made and the book. He loves his Aunt Iris!
