Memorial Day

We went to Shoshone Falls. It was such a windy day!
We didn't stay very long at all.

Next we went to Caldrin Lynn.

Easter

We went to Perkins for dinner just before Easter and the kids ate free and got to see the Easter bunny.

Brady was scared.

When Brady saw the bunny from far away he would wave and kept looking for him when he walked away. Everytime the bunny came close, Brady would turn away. He called the bunny bun bun.

He eventually took a candy from the basket.

Birthdays

JASON'S BIRTHDAY

For Jason's 31sth b-day (March 9th) we went out to lunch at El Caporal.
I got braces Feb. 22nd so here's the first shot.

COLE'S 5th BIRTHDAY

Cole has been talking about going to Chuckee Cheese for his birthday for a long time. We made plans to go to the closest one in Boise. We drove up in our new car we bought from Jason's sister Amy, an Oldsmobile Bravada. It seats 5 and has room for both car seats. We still have our Toyota Corolla. I have been working at The Amalgamated Sugar Company Co since December of 2010. I work on shift so I have to work nights and days. Jason had a single cab truck that couldn't fit both car seats so he had Cole sit in the middle without a car seat. One day he was pulled over and the cop told him both kids needed to be in car seats (which we already knew and wanted but had to make due). Luckily, I happened to be driving by and Jason told the cop so the cop had me stop and take Cole since I had his car seat and Jason avoided a ticket. We decided right there that we needed a bigger vehicle. So we bought Amy's and got a great deal.

On the way, we saw tons of windmills. Uncle Glen came with us.

We stayed at a hotel in Meridian. Cole's birthday was April 22nd and Easter was 2 days later, so we decided to celebrate Easter the morning of Cole's birthday in the hotel. Jason has MTW off and have TH F off. This way, we only have to have babysitters on the weekends right now (my schedule changes). Jason took a personal day so we had Easter too on the one day we had off together. Anyway, back to Cole's birthday.

After Easter, we made it to Chuckee Cheese.

When we arrived, the host asked if it was anyone's birthday. Cole said it was his and he had the biggest smile on his face. He was given a sticker with his name on it and a few extra free tokens.

We ordered pizza and bought lots of tokens. Each machine took a single token so we were there for hours. The boys had fun.

Cole danced with Chuckee and caught some token he threw out to the kids.

That night, we invited the grandparents over for cake and Cole's party.

Haircuts

Brady had his first haircut a few months after his first birthday.
He didn't cry. Aunt Steph gave his things to keep his mind occupied.

Cole likes getting haircuts.

Sleeping

I just had to compile a few pictures taken when I found Brady sleeping throughout the past few months.
Poor guy in the picture was sick this day while mom was working. Grandma fell asleep too.

One of my favorites. Brady and Cole share a room and one night, Jason was woke in the middle of the night and found Brady asleep at the side of our bed on the floor. He had made it that far from his room and passed out without us even knowing he was there.

Christmas 2010

So Cole has had a wonderful year in pre-school this year. His school performed at the festival of trees.
