Crater Lake, Ocean, Redwoods, Bigfoot

We took a family vacation through Oregon, California & Nevada July 24-28. We brought Glen and met my dad, Joyce & Iris at Crater Lake in Oregon.
DAY 1
Crater Lake. There was snow in July!JasonOur first camp site roasting hot dogs.Brady was full of energy running everywhere.Cole was a great helper for Grandpa.
DAY 2
We took a tour up to Applegate Lake between Grants Pass & Medford, OR & found a sign off to the right called Coolings Mountain Trail with a bigfoot print on it. Glen, dad, Jason, Cole & Iris hiked pretty far and finally found the only government funded bigfoot trap! Joyce, Brady & I stayed behind and watched a family of eagles in a tall tree. We ended the evening with dinner in Crescent City, CA & found a camp site in the redwoods.
DAY 3
The Pacific Ocean in CA.The whole gang.We pulled off the road and played at the ocean for a while.Cole & Glen had a lot of fun running and getting their feet wet in the waves.
Paul Bunyan statue in Klamath, CA.Next, we drove through a tree!Brady inside the tree.Cole inside.Pretty big trees!Brady & Cole.We walked through this tree.Last stop of the day was in Willow Creek, CA where the first bigfoot sighting began. We stayed at a camp site near Bluff Creek and our camp host told us bears came out every night. We saw one! Then Iris spotted a deer and then the bear chased it away!Everyone scoping out the bear. The bear was across the river in the canyon below.
DAY 4
We came back to the Willow Creek museum since it was closed the day before. Then we drove through Redding to Reno, NV. We saw Iris's apt and then we stayed the night in the Sands hotel.
DAY 5
We drove through Reno heading back to ID. Before we left, we stopped at Target because I was sure today was going to be their 75% off toys clearance day. I was right! We packed the car with tons of presents we can use for Christmas & birthdays. Jason had GPS on his phone. I am so glad because I tried to find a Target alone earlier & got lost.
